LL Cool J Hands Out Back-to-School Supplies in Queens
*LL Cool J was on hand to give out backpacks full of school supplies to kids in Jamaica, Queens on Sunday as part of an event hosted by the Worldstar Foundation.
The "NCIS: Los Angeles" actor notes that a relatively small contribution can have a big effect on the families.
"It lifts a burden. You'd be surprised what $30, $40, $50 dollars, whatever this ends up costing per child and how that affects a family," said LL. "This is very important."
More than 2,000 children attended the event.
